The study of Revelation has been a blessing to me over many years. In a world of dark clouds, turmoil, and uncertainty, the apostle John was given the “Revelation of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 1:1) and the “testimony of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 1:2) “from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness…” (Revelation 1:5). There is a promised blessing in Revelation 1:3: “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” The One who made this promise can be trusted because He “loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood.” (Revelation 1:5).
It is my desire to share from God’s precious word, to encourage the generations coming up so they are not ignorant of God’s prophetic word, which was revealed in the Old Testament and culminates in Revelation. I would like to encourage my children, grandchildren, and the dear saints at River Valley Christian Assembly in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin to apply themselves diligently to God’s word, and take hold of the promises of God by faith. As we give ourselves to God’s word and desire to know and obey Him, we will find that He will draw near to open our understanding.
